We're In Treble…
And Your Help Is The Key…
…To Revitalizing The Wildflower
Music Festival's Piano!

Anyone who has attended a concert during the 28 years of the Wildflower Music Festival knows what a special experience it is. Whether the music is classical, jazz, or Broadway, the sounds and the site combine for a unique evening.

For almost all of those years, a 1920s Knabe Grand Piano has been center stage. We are proud of this piano as it has served us well. Many renowned musicians have played its keys and consistently commented on the quality of its sound.

Now we—and our Knabe—are faced with an expensive, yet necessary, repair. The felt on the dampers, despite the careful attention and care from our piano technician, must be replaced. This is no easy or low cost task.

You are the key!
We need to raise nearly $5,000 to cover the cost to replace the dampers and rebuild the pedals. Every donation helps!

Your donation of $50 will be a white note. A donation of $25 will be a sharp or flat note. Piano enthusiasts can give a half octave or a whole octave.

To thank you for your efforts, we will list the names of donors in the 2010 Wildflower Music Festival Program book.

Remember that the Wildflower Music Festival is part of the Dorflinger-Suydam Wildlife Sanctuary, which is a 501(c)(3) not-for-profit organization. Your contribution may be tax deductible.

The Wildflower Music Festival has the best donors, ticket buyers, and volunteers around! Without your support, there would be no music season.

Don't delay—your help is needed immediately. Send your check or credit card information today along with the form on the back of this page. You can also submit your donation online.

Please help with this urgent request to keep our Knabe on stage so it can be part of Wildflower's great music for another 28 years!

Pianos are such noble instruments —
they're either upright or grand."
